Changing Master Teachers and Locations:
When applying for the Summit, please ensure that you think about your location carefully, and you are signing up for the correct Master Teacher (MT). It is very difficult to change locations once your deposit has been paid and is subject to the MT's approval - not the administration staff of LWISSD.
Accessing the course:
You will only have access to the course if you have been accepted by Lisa Williams and / or a MT, have either paid your deposit or full course fees AND signed the Non-Disclosure Agreement.
Registering for an account for the Summit to access course content:
Upon receipt of your deposit the administration staff of LWISSD (not the MT) will create an account for you. You will receive a welcome email. You will be sent another email just berfore the start of the course giving you your login for the student portal. Please check your spam and junk mail before asking LWISSD about this email.
Welcome to the Summit:
You will receive a welcome letter with your own personal link to your account from the administrative staff of LWISSD, not your MT. If you do not receive this, please check your spam / junk folders. If neither of these options work, then please contact firstname.lastname@example.org who will endeavor to help you.
All correspondence is sent to the email address you specified in your initial application.
Why has another student had an email but I haven't?
Have you checked your junk and spam folders?
Staff of LWISSD:
The staff at LWISSD are not here to hand-hold with any technology, but will guide you through the course and give you as much support as needed. However it is suggested, that since there is a heavy online portion, you ask the help of a friend or family member if you are not technologically savvy.
Access online content:
Please go to www.lwissdsummit.com and click on login to access your course content and NOT the link on your welcome email (this link is only for setting your password and isn't to be used to login to the course content).
Please note: the first 6 weeks are ONLINE only and will be taught by video content, workbooks and audio with two additional LIVE conference calls with Lisa Williams.
Where is Week Two?
If you are not using a desktop computer, then the scroll bar will not be evident until you click inside it. Please click inside the MY ACCOUNT box, and scroll to week two. Or alternatively, see the current weeks at a glance using this link.
Unable to play videos:
Please note that all videos are password protected to ensure that you are the only students who can watch them. The password for each video is ABOVE/BELOW THE VIDEO that you want to watch on your page and will always have a capital letter and a number. Example Summit1
Submitting your homework:
Please submit your homework to your MT. Please DO NOT copy any administration staff at LWISSD with your homework. All homework should be typed in an Office Word document in any legible font. Please do not use Pages or any other document other than Word.
Information for Conference Calls:
The conference calls are OPTIONAL and you do not have to attend. This is a time for you to personally ask Lisa any questions about the coursework, homework, or if you need any assistance with your development. The calls are limited so please keep your questions on point. The conference calls are recorded and will be loaded on the site within a few days of the call.
What time is New York time where I am?
Please use https://www.worldtimebuddy.com/ to determine New York/Eastern time in your time zone.
Contacting Student Support:
P L E A S E check your question on here first - they are in no particular order. Have you tried asking in the All Group Chat forum, or your particular group for help? Other students can probably answer your question quicker than we can.
If you do need to contact Student Support, please email Jane with a copy to Carol clearly stating which platform you are using (e.g. desktop computer, tablet), which browser you are using (e.g. Safari, Chrome) and the nature of your issue e.g. I cannot download the course content for week 1.
Carol and Jane both work part-time and will reply as soon as they can. Carol is on Chicago time, and Jane is on London time - please bear this in mind when expecting replies.
When to contact your MT:
Your MT should be only contacted when submitting your weekly homework. If they find it necessary to contact you further they will. You WILL NOT receive feed back for your homework unless there is a problem and you need to resubmit. This is because we are conditioning you to surrender into the process of giving what you are getting. It’s all about TRUST.
Questions for Lisa or your MT:
We understand that you would like to speak with Lisa and/or your MT personally; this is why we have set up the conference calls so that you can have all your questions answered. Often if you have a question, there are many others with the same question and so this way it helps everyone. If your question is of a personal and highly sensitive nature then we suggest that you email your MT and arrange a convenient time for you both to talk.
Details about location of the intensive class, times and dates:
- The in-person intensive class will run on Friday 15th and Saturday 16th September, 2017 (except Kim's group), immediately followed by an additional half day if you have chosen to take Certification
- The hours will be 9am (sharp) until 6pm
- Any planned evening activities will be at the discretion of your chosen MT
- The location will be revealed to you on your MT page once it has been confirmed. In some cases the actual physical address will not be disclosed until a few days before the physical course, however the vicinity will be shared. ALL OF THESE DETAILS WILL BE ON THE MASTER TEACHERS' PAGES.
Flights and hotels:
We urge you NOT to book flights or hotels until after Week 3 of the online content; this is to ensure that there are enough students to warrant the course to go ahead at your chosen location. If there are less than 6 people at your chosen location it’s possible that your course will not go ahead and then the administration staff at LWISSD will contact you with alternatives.
Only administration staff of LWISSD are authorized to discuss and agree upon your payment plan. This is not the responsibility of the MT.
The course must be paid for using a PayPal account. Any questions or concerns regarding your PayPal account must be directed to PayPal accordingly, not LWISSD staff. We do not accept checks or cash at this time.
All sales are final. No refunds, credits, transfers or deferments will be given.
